Chicken Fried Rice
Chicken Fried Rice dish is perfect for a Sunday meal. It is quick and very easy to make. In this recipe, I have tried to mix a special way of combining eggs, some soya sauce and chicken together and it is fried lightly to bring out their best flavors. Though this recipe looks simple to make, it is very delicious to eat and everyone loves it for its restaurant-style flavor.

Yields: Serves 4 people
Ingredients for making Chicken Fried Rice
- 1 cup Chicken
- 1 Egg
- 1 Onion, Cut finely
- 1 tsp Black pepper, Ground finely
- 2 cups Rice
- 1 or 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp Soya sauce
- A few Spring onions, Chopped fine for garnish
How to make Chicken Fried Rice
- Cook the rice, keep it aside and let it cool down. Cook the chicken as well and chop it finely.
- Beat the egg in a small bowl or a narrow glass with 1 tbsp of water.
- Take a big skillet or a frying pan and melt the butter in it on low heat.
- Add the egg in the pan and leave it for two minutes. Quickly remove it from the frying pan and chop the egg which is cooked into fine shreds.
- In the same pan, add the chopped onion and fry lightly till the onion turns translucent.
- Now add the cooked rice, the cooked chicken pieces, the soya sauce and the ground black pepper nicely together.
- Stir fry everything together in the pan for five minutes and then put the shredded egg in it. Stir fry for one minute. Close the flame.
- Serve hot with any sauce of your choice. You can garnish this dish with some spring onions.
